So with all the riots going on across the country, destroying innocent Americans property and putting innocent lives at risk... Where are all the activists to try to calm down the crowds, where are all the politicians, the Mayors, Members of Congress. Senators, Governors, where are all the celebrities who are always lecturing us, telling us how to live, who to vote for??? They are all quiet behind the walls of their mansions eating expensive ice cream. This just shows that none of them give a crap about the average American citizen and they need to shut up after this is over.. PERMANENTLY !!!!

Funny how NYC sucked under Democratic Mayors from 1966 - 1993. Then under Republican leadership from 1994 - 2001, Mayor Giuliani cleaned it up! Even then Republican Bloomberg kept the good pace going through 2013. Why Bloomberg now switched over to the Dems and apologised for all the good he did as NY Mayor we will never know. Then the Democrat "Comrade" de Blasio enters and all the good that was gained and maintained over 19 years of Republican Leadership was destroyed in less than 6 years! THE FACTS DO NOT LIE!

And me (yes that is me!) and my buddy Rod Wotton who died in tower 2. His son was born 8 days later. We were at Rod's memorial and Rodney Jr's Christening a in October 2001. Miss you buddy! Squad 288 was our firehouse who lost 19 FF's.

 Today I am tracking Project Loon. A balloon traveling over my house at 60,000 feet with speed of 13 knots. It is now 39.3 nautical miles south east of the house at altitude 57,600 ft. (Stratosphere) It is a Google project to bring Internet to rural areas. I am tracking this with my ADS-B receiver connected to a Raspberry Pi. First time tracking something other than airliners at the edge of space.

Took a picture of the SUN today as a test shot for Mondays Solar Eclipse. Used my Canon T2i with a 200mm lens and a solar filter. Also used a manual setting of 1/400 shutter speed, 100 ISO & F25 stop. You can see the sun spots in this shot. I compared with NASAs daily solar image (the better looking one). Ready for Monday. Will post many shots!

Got a great shot of the International Space Station (ISS) over Matthews, NC tonight- 03/29/2017 8:17:31pm. Used my Canon T2i with 650mm lens, f8, 1/1600 sec exposure, ISO 3200, multi burst photos. I did not intend to politicize yesterday's tragedy in France. My anger just came out. Our "world leaders" are not doing enough to stop this insanity. Never focusing on a solution but politics and diversion. I pray for those in France who lost their lives and their families. I pray for us all. I'm on a roll this week. Watching the evening news. Story about how people forget their kids in hot cars. Hundreds of deaths a year. So in comes technology and other tricks you can use as not to forget your kids.
1) leave your phone near your kid because you'll never forget your phone but you may forget your kid.
2) now there is technology available which alerts you your kid is in the back seat when you shut off your car.
Why do we placate stupid???
Technology is a tool and not the answer to everything. What if the technology fails, mom forgets her kid in the back seat. Kid dies. Does she sue Apple, Microsoft, Ford, etc..???
Remember- You give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. You teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time.
Common Sense which is severely lacking in our age!

 A TRIBUTE TO MY GOOD FRIEND.
Rodney James Wotton, born January 14th, 1965, in Jersey City, NJ, died September 11th, 2001, in the Terror Attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City.
Growing up in Lincroft, NJ, Rod played Little League baseball and was active in the Boy Scouts. A merit badge in Computing helped influence him toward a career in computer science.
Rod graduated from Middletown High School South and continued his education at Brookdale Community College, earning an associates degree in computer science. His career started at Publishers Phototype International in Carlstadt, NJ. This helped him secure a position with Chemical Bank in Somerset, NJ. Advancing up the ranks to systems programmer, Rod transferred to New York City, and this led to his most recent employment with Fiduciary Trust International on the 97th floor of the World Trade Center, Tower II. He spent most of his time with Fiduciary in data center management, where his forte was disaster recovery and data integrity. He advanced to the Vice President level and eventually became the senior vice president of web design. Rod was dedicated to his work and would spend many hours at home, nights and weekends, on the phone or at his computer, assisting his associates.
Rod met his wife, Patricia, in 1991, and they were married on May 13th, 1995. Their daughter, Dorothea Jean was born October 4th, 1999, and their newborn son, Rodney Patrick, was born September 19th, 2001, just 8 days after the attacks. A memorial service for Rod was held simultaneously with baby Rodney Patrick’s baptism on Oct. 27th, 2001 at St. Catharine’s Church.
Rod is remembered for his tender affection for his wife and daughter. He was a dedicated husband and father, and friend to many. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including golf, going to the beach, softball, roller-blading and running. When he reluctantly hung up his running shoes due to knee problems, his passion became weight-lifting, vegetable gardening and a 1988 Ford Mustang.
Rod was a fun-loving person with a quick smile and a positive attitude towards life. He was always helping people in need and spent summers as a teenager at the local park helping physically challenged children learn to swim. More recently, he and his wife participated in several social activities in Middletown, NJ, including the Newcomers Club, greeting new residents.
Rodney was an extraordinary person with many friends and relatives who loved him. We will always cherish the memories of Rod.
A big tease with a very playful personality. He aspired to his position through diligence and perseverance without complaint. Although Rod never had the chance to meet his son, it is our hope that Rod Jr. inherits his dad's dedication and tenacity.
Rod proved that hard work and a sense of humor could move you up the ladder of success. His warmth and compassion towards his colleagues will be sorely missed. |

I'm sure you have all heard of todays plane crash in Russia which killed the Polish President and several top ranking Polish Officials. They were flying to Russia for the 70th anniversary of the Katyn Massacre in 1940 where over 20,000 Polish Officers were murdered, execution style, by Russian Forces.
Yeah true. You get maybe a dozon crazy whites that may be responsible for terrorism among the hundreds or thousands of muslims. Real good commentary!!!
